This policy explains how Hyperborea Technologies ("Hyperborea", "we") handles personal data collected through this website and our business relationships, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. What we collect

We collect only what you provide and what is necessary to operate the site:

Contact details you submit through our forms or by email (name, organisation, email address, message).
Basic, aggregated technical data required to serve and secure the site (e.g. request logs). This website loads no third-party trackers or advertising cookies.

2. Why we use it

To respond to enquiries, evaluate partnership and procurement requests, manage recruitment, and meet our legal and security obligations. Our lawful bases are your consent, the performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps, and our legitimate interest in operating a secure website.

3. Product data

Our systems are deployed on-premise or at the edge and are designed to process customer and operational data within the customer's own perimeter. Hyperborea does not receive, store or have access to that operational data by default. Data-processing terms for a specific deployment are agreed in the relevant contract.

4. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers acting on our instructions (e.g. email and hosting), or where required by law. Where processing occurs, we prefer EU-region providers and appropriate safeguards.

5. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law, then delete or anonymise it.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing. You may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in Estonia, the Data Protection Inspectorate / Andmekaitse Inspektsioon).
